Due to potential severe weather, the Enid @ Owasso baseball game has been moved from Tuesday at 6:30 pm to Thursday at 4 pm at Owasso High School. In Monday night’s district matchup, the Enid Plainsmen lost a close matchup 3-1, trailing by 1 run at the start of the 7th inning.
However, Enid was unable to close the gap and ended up losing 3-1. Enid kept the game close with spectacular defense, having 3 double plays during the game. Enid fell to 11-2 in district play and 19-11 on the year, while Owasso improved to 31-2 on the season and 12-1 in district play.
Enid will most likely pitch senior Aidan Robinson on Thursday, with a chance to win the District Championship still in play. Robinson is having an incredible Senior season on the mound with a 1.059 ERA in 39.2 innings of action.
