The City of Enid put out the following press release:
The City of Enid is beginning the second phase of the construction of the walking trail along South Oakwood Road.
WHAT: Extension of the walking trail construction
WHY: To provide a safe, enjoyable, and accessible path for walkers, joggers, and
families while enhancing community connectivity and recreation opportunities.
WHERE: South Oakwood Road, from South La Mesa Drive to West Randolph Avenue
WHEN: Construction extended from today through Friday, February 13th
DETAILS: There will be an intermittent northbound lane closure along South Oakwood Road to allow construction. Motorists will have single-lane access and are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and drive with extreme caution.
This is part of the City’s commitment to improving recreation, safety, and quality of life for all Enid residents.
