4 Injured in Two Vehicle Accident in Woodward County Thursday

(Enid, OK) Four injured, with one hospitalized, after a two-vehicle accident in Woodward County on Oklahoma 34 Thursday, June 24th, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

69-year-old Kenneth Nester of Woodward, was driving a 2012 Ford F250 pickup north on Oklahoma 34 at 3:10 p.m. when he failed to yield and made a lefthand turn in front of a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee was driven by 59-year-old Dena Smith of Camargo, who was heading southbound on Oklahoma 34, according to the OHP.

Smith was transported to Alliance Health in Woodward via ambulance and admitted in stable condition with internal chest and arm injuries. Nester was taken by private vehicle to the Woodward hospital and treated with a head injury, according to the OHP report.

55-year-old Terry Smith and 38-year-old Jerri Smith, both of Camargo, were treated for arm and chest injuries, respectively. Both were released from the Woodward hospital, per the OHP.

Seat belts were equipped and in use in both vehicles, according to the report.
