HeartLine, Airbnb and the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management is offering free temporary housing to residents affected by the tornado that struck southeast Enid last Thursday.

Stays are fully funded through Airbnb.org and donors, making them completely free for guests.

To apply, residents can call 211 and request temporary housing through Airbnb. Call takers will verify addresses using storm damage maps provided by the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management.

Once verified, Heartline staff will submit the information to Airbnb, which will help connect residents with available stays in or near their area based on household needs, including room availability, pet-friendly options, and location.

“After a natural disaster, securing a temporary place to stay is one of the first steps toward stability,” said HeartLine Chief Executive Officer Margi Preston. “With our 24/7 211 network, HeartLine is uniquely positioned to quickly identify needs and activate resources like this in times of crisis. We are incredibly grateful for Airbnb.org and their ongoing commitment to stepping up for Oklahoma families when it matters most.”
