On Friday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a 63-year-old man had drowned in Canton Lake.
The man has been identified as George Highfill from Cherokee.
The OHP stated that it still doesn’t know what led to the drowning. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
