Chisholm Public Schools School Board Vice President Brendon Atkinson has resigned from his position. The reasons for Atkinson’s resignation are unknown but that gives the district another position to be filled before the next school year.

The district also needs a new principal for Chisholm High School and a new High School head baseball coach. Once these positions are filled, the district will have a lot of new faces in key positions.

Some key positions have already been filled, the head football coach position was filled in February by Kimes Gilbert the former Choctaw High School offensive coordinator and NAIA All American at Oklahoma Baptist University.

While the superintendent position was filled in May by Dr. Dudley Darrow who has worked at Enid Public Schools since 2005 where Darrow served as a coach, principal, and most recently as the assistant superintendent.

Fortunately, the district still has the entire summer to fill these key positions.
