Chisholm Public Schools has named Enid Public Schools assistant superintendent Dudley Darrow as their new superintendent. Darrow spoke to Enidlive in an interview after the school board meeting where he was named superintendent had ended.

Darrow said that he was ready to “jump in with 2 feet and get to work”. Darrow believes that his familiarity with the community due to his experience with EPS where he worked for 17 years will help him with the transition.

Darrow noted that moving to a district so close to EPS has its advantages like allowing his family to keep the same bank and doctor. As for Darrow’s plans going forward, he wants to get to work right.

He even said he was going to start texting the CPS Principals last night to set up meetings. As for his future with EPS, Darrow will be finishing up his duties on July 1st. However, Darrow will begin working on CPS business right away even using his vacation days at EPS to get a head start on his duties as superintendent at CPS.
