In response to busing issues due to a shortage of bus drivers that have caused Chisholm Public Schools to cancel school bus routes at the end of March. Chisholm Public Schools voted to sign up for the software that would help make the busing situation easier.
The name of the software is Lynx Transportation Solutions, and it would allow parents, administrators, and bus drivers to be able to view routes, students, drivers, and addresses in one system.
This would allow the school district to coordinate what the most efficient routes are for their bus drivers to complete the routes in the shortest amount of time. It will allow Chisholm Public Schools to be able to be more efficient in their school bus routes in an age where resources like bus drivers can be hard to find.
The price of the software to the district is a $2090 one-time purchase, and an1895$ annual fee after that.
