Construction work on new concrete sidewalks in the Prairie Ridge addition that began on July 27 has been extended through Jan. 1, 2027.
Construction is currently taking place near Hayes Elementary School on South Johnson Street from Pawhuska Avenue to the walking trail, Hayes Street from Pawhuska Avenue to Beverly Drive, and Chickasaw Drive from South Johnson Street to Ponca Avenue.
Intermittent lane closure will continue to be periodically enforced in these areas. The size, placement and time frames for these closures will vary and will be impacted by the weather.
