The remaining storm-damaged foundations in the Gray Ridge Estates neighborhood are now being demolished as recovery efforts from the April 23 tornado continue in southeast Enid.

“This effort represents another important step in helping families move from recovery to rebuilding,” said City Manager Jerald Gilbert. “We are grateful for the partnerships and support that continue to make a meaningful difference for residents impacted by the tornado. Removing these damaged structures helps homeowners take the next step toward rebuilding and recovery.”

The demolition project is being carried out to remove remaining damaged structures, create safer conditions and help pave the way for reconstruction efforts. Marsau Enterprises, Inc. is overseeing the demolition work and Koch Fertilizer is providing important funding for the project, giving direct assistance to homeowners.
