Magnitude 4.1 Earthquake Felt Near Shattuck Tuesday

(Enid, OK) According to U. S. Geological Survey, a magnitude 4.1 earthquake was recorded about 2 miles west of Shattuck Tuesday afternoon.

The earthquake was recorded at 1:24 p.m. near Shattuck and was about 4.78 miles deep. The rumble was felt as far away as Oklahoma City, Lawton and Dodge City, Kansas, according to various social media posts. Several Woodward residents reported feeling the earthquake as well.
