A single-car personal injury collision occurred on E. Breckinridge Rd. roughly three miles east of Garber in Garfield County.
The accident took place at approximately 8:30 p.m. when Luke Schnaithman, 29, was driving in the eastbound lane on Breckinridge. Schnaithman exited the road to the left, struck a concrete bridge rail and exited the road to the right before coming to rest in a ditch.
Schnaithman was transported to OU Medical Center by Miller EMS and was later admitted in stable condition with neck and leg injuries.
While troopers from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported smelling alcohol on Schnaithman, the specific cause of the accident is still under investigation.
