Two people — one victim and one suspect — are dead today after a shooting took place late Sunday night at the Integris Health Center in Enid.
The Enid Police Department received a domestic call a little before 11 p.m. on Sunday. Shortly after, EPD officers tracked the suspect’s vehicle to Integris, where he began firing shots at the authorities before entering the health center.
The suspect continued firing as he made his way through the hospital, shooting one victim who later died. EPD officers were eventually able to shoot and kill the suspect.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation believes there is no relation between the victim and the suspect, both of whom were reportedly male. OSBI also reports that no one else in or around the hospital was harmed, but citizens should avoid the area of the hospital as the investigation commences.
