The SEC has released its 2024 football schedule, 2024 will debut the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns in the legendary conference. Several huge matchups will take place during the season, some that stick out include the Sooner’s SEC Home opener against Tennessee Volunteers who are led by former Sooner National Champion QB Josh Huepel.
They also have a road game against old Big 12 rival Missouri, and end-of-season matchups against Alabama and LSU that are sure to factor into the SEC Title Picture. The Texas Longhorns will also make their SEC debut in 2024 starting with a home matchup with Mississippi State.
Texas also takes on Georgia and their old rival Texas A&M. Some fans may be disappointed by some of the matchups we won’t be getting in 2024, missing from the schedule is Oklahoma vs Texas A&M, Oklahoma vs Georgia, and Oklahoma vs Arkansas. Some notable missing matchups for the Longhorns include games against Alabama and Missouri.
Hopefully we will see these matchups in future seasons.
