Here are some key games to look out for for Oklahoma State.

August 31 vs South Dakota State

It’s never easy when you are taking on the defending FCS National Champions, you have to take on a quality football team that will likely treat this as their Super Bowl and you get no credit if you win. Watch out for this one Cowboy fans.

September 21 vs Utah

Cam Rising is back once again for the Utes, the 2 time Pac 12 Champion will be gunning for a Big 12 title and a trip to the College Football Playoffs. However the Cowboys will have a lot of returning players as well this should be a tough battle that will help decide the fate of the Big 12 Championship race.

September 28th @ K-State

Kansas State on the road will be a tough test for Oklahoma State, QB Avery Johnson lived up to hype in the Poptart Bowl and his duel threat style will be tough to deal with. Like the Utah game, this will be a critical matchup in determining who makes it to the Big 12 Championship game.

WildcardΒ

November 23rd vs Texas Tech

Now that the Sooners are gone is the Dust Bowl against the Red Raiders the new Bedlam? Probably not but the Red Raiders could be a dark horse to compete for the Big 12 Championship game. The Red Raiders may be better than expected this year and could compete with the Cowboys for the right to go to the Big 12 Championship game in November.

September 28th vs Oklahoma State

K-State will be looking to make a statement and prove they are among the Big 12’s best. They will have to take down a tough Oklahoma State team with playoff aspirations to do it.

October 26th vs Kansas

It may have been unbelievable a few years ago but K-State vs Kansas will have serious Big 12 and College Football Playoff ramifications. This rivalry is starting to get interesting, these two squads may be fighting at the top of the Big 12 for years to come.

November 30th @ Iowa State

Farmageddon is never easy for the Wildcats and this year won’t be any different. K-State will have to defeat an Iowa State team that is always tough to down on the road and one that brings back lots of experience from a tough 2023 team.

October 26th @ Kansas State

The rivalry continues, Kansas will have to down a tough K-State team on the road, a tough task to be sure.

November 9th vs Iowa State

With several starters returning from last year’s team Iowa State will be a tough test for any Big 12 school. Their ferocious defense may end up giving the Jayhawks trouble.

November 23rd vs Colorado

The old Big 12 North rivalry is renewed and this time it’s against Coach Prime! The Jayhawks will have to contend with one of the best QB’s in the nation in Shedeur Sanders, but will Colorado fix the glaring holes on their roster? That remains to be seen.
