In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with the Chisholm Head Girls Basketball Coach, Tyler Hill, to discuss the upcoming Wheat Capital Tournament.
The coach started off by expressing his happiness in partaking in the Wheat Capital:
“Playing against tough competition is always good for when you look down the line towards the playoffs. You want to have a tough schedule where you can go compete and get ready to play those games, first, second round, regionals, and area.”
Coach Hill best described the momentum thats pushing the team forward:
“A phrase that comes to mind would be slingshot. I think it would slingshot our momentum moving forward. We have another tough week next week, and the week after that, we go to the Kingfisher tournament, and it’s a really good 4A and 5A tournament. So that would definitely help our mental aspect as well as just our on-court play.“
