The Hennessey Eagles bring back a lot of talent from a team that went 7-4 in the debut season for new head coach Mark Cox. With Weston Smith at WR and Jessin Hardin coming back at running back after being the team’s short-yardage back last season, the offense should be poised for another good year. The Eagle’s sturdy defense from a year ago should also be a tough unit once again. A tough schedule will be the biggest challenge to navigate for the Eagles in 2023.
