Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach Jacie Hoyt will stay with the Cowgirls through 2031 after signing a contract extension. Hoyt has led the program to three NCAA Tournament appearances in four years, including back-to-back berths in 2025 and 2026, a first for OSU since 2016. Under her leadership, the team set a school scoring record, earned its first NCAA Tournament win since 2021, and finished a 24-win season. The program has also landed the nation’s top transfer class and kept three-time All-Big 12 player Stailee Heard.
During Hoyt’s tenure, the Cowgirls have posted 84 wins, including 10 over AP top-25 opponents, and have finished in the top four of the Big 12 three times. OSU boasts a 57-10 home record since Hoyt arrived. She has coached two All-America honorable mentions, 11 All-Big 12 honorees, and 13 Academic All-Big 12 selections. Hoyt was a WBCA National Coach of the Year finalist after a 25-win season and a program-record 14 Big 12 victories. The Cowgirls open their upcoming season with an exhibition against Langston on Oct. 27 and their regular-season opener against Southern on Nov. 2.
