LSU-Eunice Head Baseball Coach Jeff Willis spoke with CTB Sports about the upcoming NJCAA Division 2 World Series. The Tigers are having another phenomenal year claiming the number 1 overall seed after posting a dominant 52-7 record and winning the Gulf District.
LSU-Eunice is a crowd favorite in Enid and has been missed since their last trip to Enid when they won the 2021 World Series. They are known for passing Marti Gras beads throughout Enid and bringing a lot of fans with them.
Leading the way for the Tigers in the batter’s box is Tyson Leblanc who is hitting .364 with 4 home runs and 61 RBIs. While on the mound Alec Beversdorf has a 1.8 ERA and Blake Lobell has a 1.93 ERA.
