Northwestern Oklahoma State (0-3, 0-3 GAC) fell 55–37 to Oklahoma Baptist (2-1, 2-1 GAC) in a fast‑paced matchup on Saturday night in Alva.
The Rangers traded scores throughout the first half, with Jayce Morgan and Jacob T. Jones each finding the end zone, but the Bison led 31–20 at halftime.
Jones added two more touchdowns in the second half, including a strike to Bailee Davenport that cut the deficit to 45–37 early in the fourth. Oklahoma Baptist responded quickly and extended the lead before a lightning delay halted play with 6:53 remaining. The game was ultimately called due to weather.
Northwestern travels to East Central next Saturday at 6 p.m. in Ada.
