OKC Thunder Sign Former Oklahoma State Cowboy Lindy Waters III to Long Term Deal

The Oklahoma City Thunder have announced that they have signed Oklahoma native Lindy Waters III to a long-term deal. Waters was signed to a multi-year contract however the terms of the contract were not released.

Waters starred for the Norman North Timberwolves in High School before going on to have a spectacular college career. Waters averaged over 10 points a game in his Junior and Senior years.  After his college career ended he went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Waters then went on to play for the TBL Enid Outlaws in 2021 where he won a championship. Next, he was signed to the Thunders G-League team OKC Blue where he worked his way up to a 2-way contract with the Thunder. Waters is currently averaging 3 ppg in 7 minutes of playing time.
