Oklahoma High School Football to Move to 12 Classes Starting 2024-2025 Seasons

The OSSAA announced today that they will be expanding their number of High School Football classifications from 9 to 12. They will be doing this by splitting classes 2A, A, and B into separate classes similar to 6A being divided into 6A-1 and 6A-2.

The new classes will be 2A-1, 2A-2,A-1,A-2, and B-1, B-2. Below is where each of our area teams are classified and their new district assignments. (Area teams are bolded).

6A-1: District 1: Enid, Bixby, Jenks, Edmond North, Moore, Mustang, Norman North, Westmoore.

3A: District 1: Kingfisher, Anadarko, Seminole, McLoud, North Rock Creek, Perkins-Tryon, Purcell, Woodward.

2A-1: District 1: Chisholm, Blackwell, Millwood, Bethel, Casady, Crossings Christian, Jones, Star Spencer.

2A-2: District 1: Alva, Hennessey, Perry, Kellyville, Community Christian, Kiefer, Luther, Newkirk,

A-1: District 1: Crescent, Watonga, Fairview, Hooker, Merritt, Minco, Sayre, Texhoma

A-1: District 2: Cashion, Christian Heritage, Dibble, Hobart, Meeker, Stratford, Walters, Wynnewood.

B-1: District 1: Pioneer, Ringwood, Laverne, Burns Flat-Dill City, Shattuck, Turpin.

B-1: District 3: Garber, Barnsdall, Dewar, Foyil, Porum, Yale

B-2: District 1: Okeene, Canton, Cherokee, Seiling, Waukomis, Balko/Forgan
