Full Interview With Plainsmen Head Football Coach Cameron Condor

The Enid Plainsmen are preparing to take on Southmoore on the road tonight with a trip to the playoffs on the line. If the Plainsmen are able to get the job done then they will have a great shot at making a trip to the postseason.

Plainsmen head football coach Cameron Condor spoke with CTB Sports about the challenge Southmoore presents. Offensively, Southmoore is a mirror image of the Plainsmen, they run the same philosophy and schemes.

Southmoore like Enid, likes to spread out opposing defenses and share the wealth in the passing game targeting a bevy of wide receivers and not just keying in on 1 or 2 reads. On one hand, this makes Southmoore easy to prepare for since the Enid scout team can just run the Plainsmen’s own offense in preparation for Southmoore.

However, it is a double-edged sword Southmoore will have the same advantage, and there will be no surprises between these 2 teams it will simply come down to who can do a better job of executing.

Defensively Southmoore switches between a 3-4 and a 4-3 defensive front,

Condor also spoke about getting some of his young guys more experience by playing them on both Monday nights for JV games and then on Friday nights for varsity action.
