In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with the Seiling Head Football Coach Gary Manuel to discuss the upcoming game against OBA.
The coach began by discussing how the offseason has gone:
“The offseason has been great. Our development of some of our young players has been good. Our kids have worked really hard in the weight room. I felt like this summer was one of the best summers we had as far as high school participation and summer pride. So, it’s been great just watching these guys grow and develop.”
Coach Manuel gave some insight on OBA, calling out the speed of the players:
“They have a lot of playmakers. One thing that kind of concerns me about this game is their speed and their skill positions. I think they’re a lot faster than we are. We’re not nearly as fast as we’ve been in years past at certain positions…”
