The beautiful weather in NW Oklahoma is taking a turn for the worst on Wednesday night, heading into Thursday. Anywhere from one to six inches of snow is expected depending on the town in NW Oklahoma. So, the OSSAA took steps to get ahead of the travel issues likely faced for HS Basketball teams that have made it to Regionals in Class A and B.
This statement was released by the OSSAA early Wednesday afternoon
***Class “A” and “B” Area I Regional Basketball Tournaments are being postponed for Thursday and will now be played on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. All other Basketball Regional Tournaments in Class “A” and “B” along with Classes 4A-3A-2A Districts will be played as scheduled. ***
