Future CPS Superintendent, and current EPS Assistant Superintendent Dudley Darrow Named Administrator of the year

The Oklahoma Association of School Administrators announced future Chisholm Public Schools Superintendent and current Enid Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Dr. Dudley Darrow as the District 3 Assistant Superintendent of the year.

Recipients of the award are chosen by their peers, CCOSA/OASA Executive Director Dr. Pam Deering said “These leaders support the leadership team, the superintendent, and the district as a whole. Dr. Darrow is among the best of Oklahoma administrators. We are excited and proud to recognize these outstanding leaders.”

The reward adds to an impressive month for Darrow as he was hired by CPS as their new superintendent on May 4th. Darrow began his education career in 2002 when he served as a teacher and assistant football coach for Mustang High School, in 2005 he joined Enid High School as a teacher and coach.

In 2016 he became the Building Principal at Enid High School before becoming the assistant superintendent of secondary education for EPS in 2020. Darrow reacted to the reward by saying “I feel very humbled and honored to be nominated for this state-wide award”.

Darrow believes that the award reflects positively on EPS saying “Furthermore, I believe that this individual award is a direct reflection of the Enid Public School district as a whole. EPS is an outstanding school district and I have been blessed to have had an impactful role inside this student-first organization for the past 17 years.”
