Oklahoma State wrapped up its baseball season with a 39-22 record and made its 13th straight NCAA Regional appearance, the second-longest active streak in the country. The Cowboys reached the Tuscaloosa Regional final, marking the ninth time under coach Josh Holliday that the team advanced to a Regional final. OSU finished ranked 25th in the final D1Baseball poll and tied for third most NCAA Regional berths in college baseball history with 51. The Cowboys also continued their power display at the plate, smashing 150 home runs, which ranked second nationally. Seven players reached double-digit homers, including former Enid Plainsmen Garrett Shull, who hit 14, and standout performances from teammates such as Kollin Ritchie and Aidan Meola.
Garrett Shull played a key role in the infield and earned a spot on the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional All-Tournament Team. Jake Kennedy, another Enid Plainsmen alum, was recognized for his academic achievements as one of 16 Cowboys to earn Academic All-Big 12 honors. The team’s efforts in both athletics and academics stood out, with four Cowboys, including Shull, named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. OSU also brought home the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for the seventh year in a row, recognizing a team GPA above 3.0. The season saw five Cowboys selected in the MLB Draft and a strong showing in the classroom, reflecting the balance of athletic and academic achievement that included local talent like Shull and Kennedy.
