There was a personal injury collision involving the driver of a 1975 Kawasaki 250 4 miles north of Waynoka. The crash happened at 7:36 pm on Sunday, August 27th at County Road 290 3/10 north of the intersection of Commanche Road in Woods County. The vehicle was traveling too fast for roadway conditions, making the driver lose control and overturning the bike; coming to rest in the roadway. He was transported to Share Medical Center in Alva, then transferred to OU Medical Center in OKC; where he was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk injuries. There was an odor associated with alcohol coming off of his person according to investigators.
