29-year-old Bryan Case was arrested on Tuesday, November 28 on one count of child sexual abuse.
In early November, the victim’s father called the police to report the incident after the 8-year-old girl told her friend about the abuse.
In a forensic interview, the girl claimed that “Uncle Bryan” was the one that abused her. Later, Detective Austin Lenamond discovered the girl was indeed referring to Chase.
Bryan was later interviewed on Tuesday about the allegations against him. He denied everything at first, but he admitted it as the interview continued.
Case was taken into custody on Tuesday and is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond at Garfield County Detention Facility.
