Enid Head Baseball Coach Brad Gore Talks Upcoming Edmond Festival

The Enid Plainsmen’s Head Baseball Coach Brad Gore spoke about the upcoming Edmond Festival. Coach Gore mentioned his team’s play in the China Springs Tournament in Waco Texas where the Plainsmen went 3-2.

Coach Gore was pleased with the play of Bennett Percival and Aidan Robinson who were each named to the All-Tournament team. Both players pitched and hit the ball well throughout the tournament.

Junior Whaetley Chaloupek is also off to a strong start on the year and Coach Gore isn’t surprised due to bad luck Chaloupek had hitting the ball last year even though he was hitting the ball hard. Coach Gore also mentioned he was happy with the work Chaloupek put in the weight room in the offseason.

The Plainsmen have also been lifted up by the return of Seth Carlson who has been one of the teams top pitchers this year after missing most of his Junior year due to a back injury.
