After two years serving as Athletic Director for Enid Public Schools, Scott Mansfield is returning to Northern Oklahoma College Enid to rejoin the Jets baseball program.
Mansfield, who led the Jets from 2019 to 2023, helped guide the team to a Region 2 runner-up finish and two semifinal appearances during his tenure. He will now be part of Head Coach Ryan Bay’s staff at NOC Enid.
No stranger to the program, Mansfield previously served as Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator under then-Head Coach Raydon Leaton from 2010 to 2020. During that period, he played a major role in building the Jets’ reputation, contributing to NJCAA World Series appearances in 2014 and 2018, and helping secure a National Championship in 2019.
Mansfield’s coaching career began at Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas, before taking him north to Canada as Pitching Coach for the Melville Millionaires of the Western Major Baseball League in 2010. He joined NOC Enid later that year, launching a long and impactful association with the program.
A graduate of The Colony High School in Texas, Mansfield began his playing career at Western Texas College before transferring to North Lake College and later Wayland Baptist University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies in 2009.
Mansfield and his wife, Megan, reside in Enid. She is a middle school social studies teacher.
