The NOC Enid Jets completed a three-game sweep to capture the NJCAA Region 2 Basketball Tournament championship Saturday, defeating Western 68–59 at Muskogee High School.
The victory marks the first region tournament title in program history for the Jets, who improved to 20–13 on the season.
Sophomore guard Gavin Barnard led NOC Enid with an outstanding performance, scoring 29 points while adding nine rebounds and five assists. Barnard shot 8-of-9 from the field, made all three of his three-point attempts, and went 10-of-11 from the free-throw line.
KeJaun Payne also reached double figures with 11 points. Riley Shore contributed five rebounds, while Faris Mucharbach added three blocks on the defensive end.
