The Northwestern Oklahoma State softball team split Tuesday’s midweek matchup with Fort Hays State, earning a 6-2 win in game two.
The Rangers fell behind early in game one, as Fort Hays scored in the second inning before adding five more in the third to take a 6-0 lead.
Northwestern got on the board in the fourth after a Tiger error allowed Jamie Molina to reach base, and a second error brought her home. The Rangers added another run on a Taygan Graham single that scored Gabrielle Sanchez.
The Rangers will return to action this weekend as they travel to Bethany to face Southern Nazarene beginning Friday.
