A big week of baseball is ahead for the city of Enid. In high school baseball, the Enid Plainsmen are in Tulsa for the State Tournament as they look to clinch their 1st state title since 1986. We’ll be there covering the Plainsmen and encourage any Plainsmen fan to make the trip to Tulsa to cheer the kids on. However, if you are unable to make it to Tulsa but are still wanting to get your baseball fix…David Allen Memorial Ballpark is the place to be!
We’re still about 3 weeks away from the NJCAA Division II World Series makes its return to Enid. However, the NJCAA will be in Enid at some capacity as the Plains District Tournament will be taking place from Thursday through Sunday (Monday if necessary). NOC Enid will be trying to punch their ticket to the World Series for a chance to play for a title in front of their home crowd. Won’t be an easy task though as there will be some stiff competition throughout the entire tournament. We won’t be broadcasting any of the games but we are excited for there to be some great baseball being played at DAMB. Below is the schedule for this week’s tournament.
