An injury collision occurred on Saturday, September 16th Involving Multiple Elderly Victims

An injury collision occurred on Saturday, September 16th at 12:34 pm on OK-3 N 2590 RD near Watonga. Vehicle 1 was a Ford Explorer driven by an elderly lady, who suffered head and internal injuries. She was transported by AirEvac to OU Medical Center. There was one passenger in the Ford, an elderly male who also suffered head and internal injuries. He was transported to the same medical center.

Vehicle 2 was a Kenworth driven by an elderly male. He exited the crash uninjured.

The Ford was eastbound on Highway 3 turning onto N 2950 RD failed to yield and was struck by the Kenworth on the passenger front side. The couple in the Ford was pinned for an unknown amount of time.

The crash was investigated by Trooper Broden Carls #232 of the Blaine County Detachment of Troop J and assisted by Trooper Donald Kraft #920 of Troop J, Trooper Dustin McAtee #927 of Troop S, Blaine County Sheriff’s Office, Watonga Fire, and AirEvac.
