A fatality collision occurred involving James Henke of Hunter Oklahoma.
Henke pulled up to a residence and thought he had put the vehicle in park, but it was actually in reverse. then, Henke stepped out of the vehicle when it started rolling backwards, James attempted to regain control of the vehicle when he fell and the vehicle ran over him.
Miller EMS transported him to St Mary’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The collision was investigated by Trooper Jason Burch #J596 of the Garfield County Detachment of Troop J. Assisted by the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, Hunter Fire, Garber Fire, LIFE EMS, and Miller EMS.
