The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Announced a personal injury collision in Grant County that took place on August 1st at around 6:47 pm. It happened when a Wakita man was driving a 2000 Buick north of Kay Road and County Road 855 in Grant County near Wakita when he suffered a medical event, causing him to leave the road and come to rest in a culvert on the passenger side of the vehicle.
He was transported by Medford EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid. The man was then transferred to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted for a head injury in stable condition.
