In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with OBA Head Football Coach Chris Cayot to discuss the upcoming matchup against Okeene.
The coach began by sharing what has led the team to success this year:
“Senior leadership, got some juniors in there too, but these kids have been through a lot…they’ve committed themselves to the weight room and just done a great job getting better and being coachable. ”
Coach Cayot shared how the school gets excited for football:
“Our kids get really excited about doing a lot of different things. But we do have a lot of kids in our school that [love] to come out to the football games and watch their classmates play. We enjoy the competitive part of athletics. It’s a part of our bigger picture here. But it’s a lot of fun, and our athletes put a lot of work into it.”
