Driver Ejected in Rollover Crash Near Cleo Springs

An injury collision involving a Ford Pickup happened near Cleo Springs in Major County.

The vehicle was heading westbound on US-412 and entered a curve at high speed, losing control and departing the roadway to the left, striking a light pole. Then, the vehicle overturned and rolled one and a half times; ejecting the driver through the driver-side window. Information about the driver’s injuries is still pending.

The condition of the driver is under investigation due to a report that stated officers could smell alcohol inside the vehicle.

The collision was investigated by Trooper Randall McCullough of the Woods County detachment of Troop J. and assisted by the Major County Sheriff’s Office, Cleo Springs Fire, Fairview Fire, Major County EMS, and EagleMed.
