Woman was Ejected from Pickup in Personal Injury Crash near Manchester

A personal injury occurred on OK0132 and Mclain Road, about three miles south of Manchester on Friday, September 29th. The crash happened at approximately 3:43 pm and involved the driver of an old Chevrolet Truck. The two passengers sustained injuries: one passenger, an adult female, suffered leg injuries; the other passenger, also an adult female, suffered head injuries. In addition, she was ejected from the flatbed of the truck during the incident. Both were transported to Wesley Medical Center in stable condition.

What happened was the front-right tire blew out, which caused the vehicle to part from the roadway and come to rest against an embankment.

The incident was investigated by Trooper Mason Sparks #810 of the Garfield County detachment of Troop J.  and assisted by Grant County Sheriff’s Office,  Grant County Fire, Medford EMS, and Miller EMS.
