The NWOSU women’s basketball team will be honored by the City of Alva and Woods County on April 6 and recognized for their accomplishments this season.
The commemoration will take place at the Woods County Courthouse parking lot at noon.
Woods County is declaring April 6 as Lady Ranger Basketball Day in commemoration of the 2026 Great American Conference tournament that the Lady Rangers won, and for their participation in the 2026 NCAA Tournament in March.
